A network of autonomous independent sensors for early warning, visualization and verification of potential threats. Echelon GSS provides both tactical and long-term solution without reliance on pre-planned and fixed infrastructure, enabling remote area monitoring for critical assets and deployed teams. The system enhances situational awareness, common operational picture and operational capacity for the border / area security, expeditionary and counter-insurgency tasks
Early warning
The Echelon GSS provides a simple, instantly deployable and easily re-deployable solution for area, asset and force protection that enhances fact-based decision making at both tactical edge and centralized command level. The multi-sensor system of small autonomous devices provides an infinitely scalable and flexible solution that enables intelligent tasking and allocation of limited combat resources in critical environment. Integrated multi-layer C2 of the system gives near real-time propagation of critical information along the chain of command providing centralized control over critical areas, assets and deployed teams.
Visualization
High-resolution and frame-rate images from the Echelon GSS sensors provide detailed and actionable leads on the potential security threats. The system multiplies the ability of the deployed teams to observe and report critical security breaches minimizing possibility of undetected perimeter / border violations and surprise attacks. The high quality imagery allows - in addition to detection – verification and classification of the potential threats.
System Deployment
The Echelon GSS system is suited for use in varied climatic conditions and terrain by both stationary and mobile teams. The system can be deployed for the long-term assignments (over 1 year) and short-term tactical tasks (for few hours). As all the Echelon platform components the Echelon GSS is designed as a modular and ruggedized system with a low Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) approach that enables deployment of high power computing technology to the tactical edge.
